REGULATIONS & INFO

How many drivers in the team?

Senior ESKC Teams; Minimum of 2 and maximum of 4

Junior ESKC Teams: minimum of 2 and maximum of 4

Do I need any special or competition licenses to be able to take part in the ESKC?

NO.  The ESKC  is open for all levels of abilities using leisure rental karts; we just insist on the regulatory 2 x 15minute practice sessions prior to the first event.

Do I need to purchase any special equipment?

We supply you with all the equipment, such as race helmet, balaclava, gloves and race overalls.  You do have to wear closed shoes, such as sports shoes.  However, if you wish to have your own personal suits, helmets, race boots or gloves in the colour of your choice, you can purchase them from our OMP Pro Shop.

What about if I am slow and want to improve?

Dubai Kartdrome offers tailored-made one-on-one tuition, for individuals and groups.  We also recommend plenty of practice.

Can girls take part?

Yes, of course… we have plenty of ladies racing karts; we encourage it!

If I don’t feel like racing, can I still be involved?

Yes.  Every team should have a team manager, pit lane walker, time keeper, pit board personal and a strategist.

I haven’t got the budget; how to pay my entry fees?

We encourage teams to go out and find sponsors.  It can be one main sponsor, or several sponsors.  Try to get a budget to cover all your practice fees and race entries.  Plus any travel costs and perhaps even some team merchandise!
